Michèle Sayegh Naja holds a doctorate in French literature. Of Lebanese origin, her passion for the French language led her to give literature courses at high school and university and to publish a series of school textbooks (Editions Antoine Hachette) and to promote the French teaching in the Middle East.

In 2023, she published a novel, Just hold on to life, Verone editions.

Currently, she is dedicating herself on writing a second new novel and pursuing her painting activity.

Self-taught, painting is for Michele another way of writing in which she replaces the pencil with the brush and words with color.

Whether in her novels or paintings, she keeps the same challenging topic “from loss to sublimation”.
