Lebanese multidisciplinary designer and artist Dana Halwani, has been refining her skills as a self-taught artist for the past 5 years.Originally an interior architect, Dana developed a knack for doing things “properly”. That latter attuned relatively when she started painting, as she cherished spontaneity & flaws.Merging art & activism in a society layered with the burden of insecurities, keeps her bouncing into different fields from one case to another; trying to retain the balance with the weight of her positive influence and gained expertise, from academic-taught to heart-felt matters. In her art, which is a reflection of personal experiences and daydreams, she tends to exhaust possibilities by experimenting with styles, remodeling definitions and colors, and thus, provoking people to rethink “norms” and hopefully take a step forward towards initiating positive change.
