Visual artist, Elise began her artistic exploration with a reverence for artisans.It was the discovery of concrete – raw, elegant & resistant material-, that shaped her and convert her from craftswoman to visual artist.Passionate about concrete, she pushes the material to its limits through improbable combinations that impose themselves on her, allowing her to express her sensibility.By instinctively restructuring the forms, she proposes a second more abstract vision of her subjects. Trauma, nostalgia and memory distill under her hand and take shape.She aspires in her work to freeze states of mind.
