MAGDA MALKOUN

Lebanese artist Magda Malkoun, works with photo collage and painting to explore memory, identity, and the silent strength of women. Her portraits, built from fragments of her photographs, transform into sculptural forms that reflect resilience, beauty, and transformation. Inspired by German Expressionism, Khalil Gibran, and Gustav Klimt, her practice is intuitive yet intentional, guided by emotion and memory, creating works that invite reflection, cross-cultural dialogue, and a connection to self and place.
Her work has been featured in several magazines like Elle Decoration, Gallery Magazine and Laha Magazine.
She has exhibited in the UAE, Lebanon, Europe, and the U.S., with highlights including Art Dubai and Times Square, NYC. Her work is part of famous collections (UNESCO, MIA Art Collection, and Zayed University).
In 2022, she began collaborating with Artists of Beirut, showcasing her work in numerous exhibitions held in various art spaces venues in Beirut.
